It has been several years since I have fully done a layout for my website. Everything lately has only been image and color edits of free templates. The last layout I made used frames, which explains why I had (and am still having) such difficulties with this simple layout. I haven’t designed a blog layout since the standard went from tables to CSS.
It is like having to start all over, and now I have to relearn web design.
There is much that is still borked with this layout. My footer isn’t doing what I want, and I still need to format the comments and library pages. It is complete enough that I decided to activate it in hopes that it will motivate me to fix it soon. Well, I don’t know if I will ever fix the footer since I don’t know why it won’t center like I want. Oh well. I also wish there wasn’t such a huge gap between the date and my post, but that is another issue that I don’t really know how to fix. It is because WP adds a p tag. Boo.
So enough with the boring post. I have images and video of the seven kittens our kitten spawned several weeks ago. Those will be coming soon, I promise. Baby kitties = ♥ ♥.
Before I forget, big thanks to Ashelia and Sol Invictus at Hellmode for all their help with my layout. If it weren’t for them, I would still be staring at a broken page.

I am changing the CMS used for my site again. Give me a few days (or weeks) to get things back in order again. :p
